NRCCI in the News - New Website Section

A new section has been created on this website to follow the wealth of stories being written in the media about the NRCCI and the Higher Aspirations, Brighter Futures documents that were released earlier this week.  The news section can be found at:

Higher Aspirations - NRCCI Launch

The primary purpose of the NRCCI was to undertake a strategic review of residential child care services and make sector driven recommendations to the Scottish Government, local government and providers of residential child care.

Adam Ingram asked SIRCC to lead the NRCCI and thereby honour the Government’s commitment to working with partners to make residential care the first and best placement of choice for those children whose needs it serves.

NRCCI seeks Higher Aspirations, Brighter Futures!

The extensive work of the National Residential Child Care Initiative, led by SIRCC, has culminated in a series of four reports entitled Higher Aspirations, Brighter Futures which are being launched by Adam Ingram, Minister for Early Years and Children, in Edinburgh on 2nd December.
