Arts and activities are central to social pedagogy and what you do with children and young people who are in your care. The Scottish Government’s ‘Vision of Scotland’s Children’ requires ‘a holistic framework… to promote the wellbeing and interests of each child’. This includes ‘having opportunities to take part in activities such as play, recreation and sport which contribute to healthy grown and development, both at home and in the community. This seminar will give you the opportunity to consider how to enrich daily life events to achieve the minister’s vision.
