Course Aim:
To provide participants with the opportunity to produce the evidence needed to complete three of the mandatory units for Health and Social Care (Children and Young People, Level 3). There will be three courses offered in all. The courses will cover HSC 31, HSC 32 and HSC 34.
Course Objectives:
Cover the knowledge evidence required for the unit they are undertaking
Be able to reflect on how their learning may be transferred and applied to new situations
Write up their reflective accounts for their SVQ portfolio
SVQ Underpinning Knowledge:
SIRCC Staff can offer a programme of underpinning knowledge for SVQ level 4 in Care. This will be offered mainly by those organisations who provide assessment and internal verification for their own staff but may wish to augment this with additional underpinning knowledge sessions. The programme will reflect knowledge required for the four mandatory units and a range of optional units.
Target Group:
Those staff who are undergoing SVQ assessment and wish to complete the mandatory units for their portfolio, prior to undertaking the HNC. Please note that these units are now incorporated into the HNC in Social Care.
