Course Aim:
To ensure that participants understand the importance of supervision
Course Objectives:
Understand and apply the principles and main methods of staff supervision
Demonstrate an understanding of the dynamics of the supervisor/supervisee relationship with particular reference to issues of power and discrimination
Have examined some of the skills needed to be a good supervisor
SVQ Underpinning Knowledge:
This course will provide evidence for the underpinning knowledge for unit CU7
Target Group:
This course will be useful for Unit Managers, deputy managers and external managers
