Stress Management

Course Aim: 
To ensure that staff working with children and young people have an understanding of the stress that can be generated in group living environments
Course Objectives: 
Demonstrate an understanding of the factors which can lead to stress in people's lives
Show an understanding of some of the self-help interventions to manage stress
Be able to identify some of the physical symptoms of stress and stress-related ailments
Demonstrate an understanding of the causes of stress
SVQ Underpinning Knowledge: 
This course may provide evidence for unit HSC 32
Target Group: 
This course will be useful for all staff from basic grade practitioners through to Unit Managers
