Course Aim:
That all participants understand the main reasons why children and young people may display disturbed sleep patterns and feel better equipped to intervene effectively
Course Objectives:
Have an awareness of sleep promotion
Be able to care more effectively for children and young people with sleep difficulties who use short break or residential services
Be able to develop care plans which include programmes for sleep promotion

This course will be particularly useful for staff working during the day and at night with disabled children in residential and respite services
