Course Aim:
To examine the physical and psychological aspects of the development of sexual identity in children and young people with disabilities and look at how workers respond to this process
Course Objectives:
Become aware of your own attitudes and how they affect responses in the workplace
Have an understanding of patterns of sexual development
Look at working effectively with children with a range of disability and sexual orientation
Have knowledge of the impact of disability on sexual development
Have a knowledge of key principles and relevant legislation
