Course Aim:
To introduce the concept of resilience and examine ways to help children and young people become more resilient
Course Objectives:
Have a theoretical and practical perspective of resilience and how to help develop this in children and young people and the adults who care for them
Developed plans for resilience work within their workplace
Evaluated the effectiveness of their plans

This course may provide evidence for unit HSC 34
Higher National Certificate:
This course provides an introduction to concepts explored in the units Social Care Theory for Practice and Psychology for Social Care Practice.
Target Group:
This course will be useful for any member of residential child care staff who is a key worker or works closely with one or more children and young people
