Parents: Working in Partnership with Parents of Disabled Children
Course Aim:
To help staff work in partnerships with parents of disabled children
Course Objectives:
Have an understanding of the concept of partnership and barriers to working in partnership with parents of disabled children
Be able to identify and develop appropriate ways of working in partnership with parents of disabled children
SVQ Underpinning Knowledge:
This course may provide evidence for unit HSC 34
Higher National Certificate:
This course provides an introduction to concepts explored in the unit Social Care Theory for Practice.
Target Group:
Basic grade staff through to Unit Managers
Course Length:
2 days. This course can also be delivered as four half day or four evening sessions.
