Evaluation of the Educational Attainment of Looked After Children Pilot Program

The Scottish Executive has funded 18 local
authority pilot projects to provide educational support for looked after
children. The overall aim of the research is to learn and disseminate lessons
on what works in interventions designed to improve the educational engagement,
experience and attainment of looked after children. It will map the activity in
the pilots in the 18 local authorities and identify positive practice in the
context of different pilots.
