Evaluation of the Scottish Social Services Council Process for Approval of Social Work Courses

This research aims to describe and evaluate the process of approval of the new social work courses in Scotland. It will: identify the extent of variation in the approvals process across Higher Education Institutes (HEIs), explore SSSC Panel Members preparedness for the task and perspectives on the approval process; and explore the perspectives of HEI and SSSC staff of the approval process.
