Anti-Discriminatory Practice: Valuing Diversity
Course Aim:
To help staff promote children's ethnicity, religion, language and culture
Course Objectives:
Be able to recognise the importance of different cultural experiences
Identify oppressive and discriminatory working practices
Understand the importance of anti-racist and anti-discriminatory practice
SVQ Underpinning Knowledge:
The course may provide evidence across all units of the SVQ
Higher National Certificate:
This course provides an introduction to concepts explored in the unit Social Care Theory for Practice
Target Group:
Basic grade staff through to Unit Managers.
