Course Aim:
To enable participants to develop safe and appropriate residential child care practice when working with young people who display sexually harmful behaviour.
Course Objectives:
Better understand and access the theoretical and research issues concerning children and young who display sexually harmful behaviour.
Be able to understand and respond to different types of problem behaviours in children and young people.
Better understand the developmental needs of children and young people who display sexually harmful behaviour.
Be more able to provide a protective and safe caring environment for children in their care, including children who display sexually harmful behaviour.
