Residential workers holding children’s cases: Evaluation of a pilot project.

In 2006 Stirling Council decided to pilot the case management of children who were resident in the children’s unit – Brucefield residential unit. The plan was for two of the residential staff who were qualified social workers to hold the cases of children who were placed there, rather than social workers based in a ‘fieldwork’ office. SIRCC were invited to carry out an evaluation and this was completed and published in April 2008.
