The work of the National Residential Child Care Initiative has been continuing at a pace. An update of information has been provided in the section for each working group with progress to date. This includes questions for stakeholders which will be used as the basis for consultation at the stakeholder events taking place in January and February. The stakeholder questions are also available on-line for anyone unable to attend these events.
Please take the time to participate in these events and/or respond to the questions – this is an opportunity to contribute to the development of residential child care services in Scotland.
Please note that responses to questions should be made in the context of the range of residential child care services available in Scotland including homes/units, residential special schools and secure accommodation services.
