Description
This half day introductory workshop on therapeutic practice with children aims to consider processes which facilitate the development of a therapeutic milieu and therapeutic relationships and will reflect on a range of therapeutic interventions within child care settings.
The half day programme will therefore include:
• The origins and concepts of therapeutic practice
• The significance of patterns of attachment for both child and worker
• Working with the inner world of the child
