SIRCC is working in partnership with a number of organisations to look at policy and practice issues that surround the education of all young people who are looked after. The intention is for the conference to look at the role of the designated manager; getting it right first time; being looked after at home; good practice; interagency work; and engaging with parents and carers. Practice issues such as confidentiality, working with the curriculum and the use computer networks and technology will also be included.

Address by Adam Ingram
