Background

The idea of the Care Leavers’ Association (CLA) running an event in Scotland with SIRCC followed a very successful conference in England with BAAF. It was felt that it could be really helpful to see how a number of care leavers have progressed into successful careers as adults and to address two of the key issues facing care leavers in the UK, from a Scottish perspective.

These are ‘Access to Records’ and ‘Historic Abuse’.

PRTL

This conference meets the post registration training and learning requirements set by the SSSC.
