This seminar explores effective practice with children and young people whose development has been impaired by trauma.  It challenges the predominant dependence on traditional verbal approaches, supporting practitioners to integrate a range of concepts and practices that promote growth and recovery.  Recent developments in neurobiological understandings will be linked with direct practice in the lifespace.
